After five years of producing The Truck Show Latino and Construction Truck and Equipment Expo it is time to make a change. Let me introduce The Golden State Trucking Expo.
While managing the International Trucking Show and The Truck Show Las Vegas I noticed very little participation by Latino drivers. This was of great concern, as Latinos make up the largest ethnic group of drivers in the southwest United States. While meeting with Tom Stanford, then editor of RoadStar Magazine, we came up with the idea of a show targeting Latino drivers and The Truck Show Latino was created.
Over the years we learned a lot about attracting Latino drivers to our trade show. But, opposite of ITS and the Las Vegas shows, our audience was 99% Latino and other qualified truckers thought the show wasn’t for everybody.
Based on our experience, the Golden State Trucking Expo will attract truckers from one of the largest truck markets in the U.S. no matter their ethnicity.
